It's also light, making it easy to move around the house during naps and when traveling.

It's made of soft material and has mesh sides that are breathable to help promote airflow. It's available in oak and charcoal and has a variety of melange fabric options that blend well with most decor styles. Anna found it to be sturdy and secure after being affixed to her bed. The legs snapped into place and the zippers were secured to ensure safety. It took Anna about 10 minutes to put together and did not require any tools. There are clear instructions as well as a video, and a customer support number if you experience any issues.

The CoZee crib comes with all the features you'd think of in a crib for your bedside, including the ability to attach it to your existing bed using a stay-in place connection system. It also has six height settings. Additionally there is an inclined feature that can be used to help infants suffering from reflux or congestion. This is one of Chicco’s more expensive alternatives. It does have numerous great features. It's designed as an individual side sleeper or standalone crib and is suitable from birth up to six months. It's easy to open and close the side panel using a brand new mechanism. It is also more adjustable than the predecessor, with 11 different height settings as well as legs that retract to installation underneath any bed.

Our testers loved the ease of access the side panel provides, which can be lowered and raised by pressing one button. This was a huge benefit during night time feeds as it meant that they could easily reach inside and take their baby away without disturbing them up.

The side panel can be removed by itself, too however, it's not recommended as this increases the chance of your child falling out of the cot. The safety locking system ensures that the side panel will only remain in place if it's properly attached to the parent's mattress. This is a wonderful feature to have for peace mind, especially in the case of breastfeeding and frequent night feeds.

Telescopic legs allow the Chicco Next2Me Magic to be used with any bed including divan bases or beds with drawers. It also comes with tilting functions to help babies who are refluxy and a rocking mode that can help them sleep after eating. It's also incredibly large and has excellent ventilation thanks to its mesh sides.

Our test participants found the Next2Me Magic easy to set up and use, though it does come with a long instruction manual. It is a little heavier than other side-sleepers, but it's easily moved from one place to another. It can also be folded up into its travel cot bedside bag, which is a great option for those who want to transport it. The only downside our test subjects found was that the side panel did not flex as much as some of the other models, which made it difficult to see your baby from your own bed.

The Shnuggle Air

The Shnuggle Air bedside crib is an excellent choice for a crib that can grow with your child. It's a co-sleeping crib that attaches securely to your bed and can be transformed into a stylish travel cot bedside crib when your baby is old enough. It is ideal for feeding your baby at night and enhancing your bond with your baby's new.

The Shnuggle Air crib is designed to breathe, which is different from other cribs. Its dual-view mesh side panels and airflow mattress that is breathable and hypoallergenic increase airflow to keep your baby cool and comfortable.
